Dreams Football Club is a football club based in the Greater Accra Region. The club is competing in the Ghanaian Premier League.

History

The club was formed in 2009 and was promoted to the second level of the Ghanaian soccer league system in 2014.

The club operates a first team, popularly called Stage 1 and a youth team called Stage 2. Players of Stage 1 are considered first team members and compete in the Ghana Premier League. Stage 1 is managed by former Asante Kotoko trainer and national U20 team coach Abdul Karim Zito.

Dreams FC sealed their qualification to the 2015–2016 Ghana Premier League season for the first time ever in their history. In December 2016, the club was demoted from the Ghana Premier League due to an anomaly with the registration of a player. The decision was taken by the Ghana Football Association's Disciplinary Committee.

Dreams je sportovní klub z Ghany, sídlící ve městě Dawu v regionu Eastern. Klub byl založen v roce 2009 a je jedním z nejúspěšnějších týmů v ghanské Premier League. V roce 2016 vyhrál Dreams svůj první titul v Premier League a poté se v roce 2017 zúčastnil Ligy mistrů CAF.

Crest: Na klubovém znaku jsou vyobrazeny dvě holubice, které představují mír a přátelství. Kolem znaku je napsáno "Dreams Football Club, Dawu", což je název klubu a jeho sídla.

Dreams FC se vyznačuje útočným stylem hry a je známý tím, že vychovává mladé hráče. Klub má silnou vazbu na místní komunitu a v Dawu provozuje fotbalovou akademii.

Hráči: Dreams FC má ve svém týmu několik talentovaných hráčů, včetně útočníků Agyemang Badu a Joseph Esso. Badu je bývalý ghanský reprezentant, který má zkušenosti s hrou v nejlepších evropských ligách. Esso je produktivní střelec, který v sezóně 2017 vyhrál ocenění pro nejlepšího střelce ghanské Premier League.

Trenér: Dreams FC trénuje Vladislav Bogdanović, který je bývalým srbským fotbalistou. Bogdanović se k Dreams FC připojil v roce 2017 a vedl tým k vítězství v Premier League v roce 2020. Je známý tím, že rozvíjí mladé hráče a vytváří útočné týmy.

Stadium: Dreams FC hraje své domácí zápasy na stadionu Dawu Park, který má kapacitu 5 000 míst. Stadion byl postaven v roce 2016 a je jedním z nejmodernějších sportovních zařízení v Ghaně.
