Wikipedia - Liga Primera de Nicaragua

The Liga Primera de Nicaragua is the top division of football in Nicaragua, organized by the Federación Nicaragüense de Fútbol. It was created in 1933.

The league is played in two parts, the Torneo de Apertura from August through November and Torneo de Clausura from January through May. Each of the regular seasons is followed by a playoff of the top four teams over a two-legged semifinal and subsequent final. The relegation end has the bottom team of the aggregate table dropped as well as the defeated one from the playoff match between the 8th and 9th-place teams.

**Nikaragua - Apertura**

Nikaragujský fotbalový turnaj Apertura je profesionální fotbalová soutěž v Nikaragui, která se hraje od roku 1933. Turnaj je organizován Nikaragujskou fotbalovou federací (FENIFUT) a účastní se ho 10 nejlepších nikaragujských fotbalových klubů.

Turnaj se hraje systémem každý s každým ve dvou fázích. V první fázi se kluby utkají dvakrát mezi sebou, přičemž nejlepší čtyři týmy postoupí do semifinále. V semifinále se utkají první s čtvrtým a druhý se třetím. Vítězové semifinále se poté utkají ve finále o mistrovský titul.

Nejúspěšnějším klubem v historii Apertura je Diriangén FC, který vyhrál 29 titulů. Aktuálním šampionem je Deportivo Walter Ferretti.

Turnaj Apertura je jedním z nejprestižnějších fotbalových turnajů ve Střední Americe a nabízí příležitost pro nikaragujské hráče, aby se dostali do pozornosti mezinárodních klubů.
